Trick or Treat on the Huron River

Kids and families will visit stations on the river by boat and receive a treat at each stop! There are also games/activities on land. The rental fee is $25 per boat. No preregistration required. All ages welcome, but children must be one year or older. Spend the afternoon enjoying the haunting fall beauty of the Huron River while trick-or-treating by canoe or kayak. Keep an eye out for ducks, swamp monsters, witches and pirates on your adventure on the river! Feel free to join in and dress up! Bring a bag for your candy and your own water bottle. Buhr Park Boo Bash

Get ready for a frightfully fun (FREE) family day at Buhr Park! Enjoy a silent disco, food trucks, artisan vendors, photo booth, craft stations, inflatables, spooky trivia and face painting. Pumpkin Carving Contest: Carving takes place 1–3 p.m. (you can start hollowing at 12:30 p.m.), with public voting from 3–3:30 p.m. Brackets: youth 12 and under (decorating only), teens 13–18, and adults 18+. Themes include scariest, funniest and most creative, with 1st and 2nd place prizes in each bracket. Participants bring their own pumpkins and tools (no rotary tools). Youth supplies provided.
