Oxford Family Weekend
Oxford Family Weekend gives family and friends a taste of college life for their student in a weekend equal parts fun and informational. From game night, to student performances, to the Fun Run and Picnic on the Quad, families enjoy this uniquely Oxford event, which includes a chance to choose your own adventure while exploring the campus and the surrounding community.
This year, Oxford College Family Weekend is October 17-19, 2025. Most of our programming will be on Saturday, October 18, to accommodate your travels.

From a campus dining hall in the ’60s and ’70s to a lively tavern in the early ’80s a music stage in the late ’80s and a beloved coffeehouse and student hangout through the ’90s and 2000s... Dooley’s Tavern was the place to gather, perform, unwind, and make memories. Come celebrate its legacy — with music, friends, and a final farewell to the space that helped shape generations of Oxford students.

We're excited to see you at Oxford College's Emory Cares service project as we celebrate 21 years of community impact! Please bring a friend. We always need support and help. This is a great family event too. Children welcome ages 3 and older. We'll be assembling care packages for children in Newton County Foster Care. We can only make as many gift boxes as we have items and shoe boxes. So please bring anything on the attached list and your shoe or gift boxes.
