The Washington State Mental Health Summit is an inclusive forum for stakeholders around the state to develop, share, and advance new and promising ideas, opportunities and collaborations that will advance effective education, prevention, and care for those living with mental health and addiction problems. Asking IS Caring Suicide Prevention Training for ESAs

Online Training! Thursday, May 29, 2025 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Learning Objectives: 1. Assist school mental health professionals in understanding the public health issue of suicide and the role that schools can play. 2. Prepare ESA professionals to prevent suicide. 3. Develop skills to intervene with students who are at-risk that are embedded within schools’ policies and protocols. This Washington state PESB-approved, three-hour training meets the suicide prevention training requirement. Certificate of completion provided to all participants. Washington state clock hours available.
