The Here and Now Project, a CREATE Community Partner, invites you to join the Annual 5K For Today!
This family-friendly walk, run, roll supports the paralysis community. Proceeds from this community activity will help us connect and empower the community through direct outreach to people who are newly injured, private support groups, recreational activities, and annual gatherings.
In-person event: June 22 - in-person at Rogers High School in Puyallup , 11-11:55 a.m. - Event packet pick-up , 12 p.m. - Race starts, Virtual participation: June 22-29 - virtual option, Entry fees start at $35 and go up as the race date approaches.

Autoethnographic Insights from Neurodivergent GAI “Power Users”
Generative AI has become ubiquitous in both daily and professional life, with emerging research demonstrating its potential as a tool for accessibility. Neurodivergent people, often left out by existing accessibility technologies, develop their own ways of navigating normative expectations. GAI offers new opportunities for access, but it is important to understand how neurodivergent “power users”—successful early adopters—engage with it and the challenges they face.

AccessCSforAll staff invites you to participate in a three-week virtual book club exploring El Deafo, a graphic novel written and illustrated by Cece Bell. The book offers a humorous and heartfelt look at growing up deaf, identity, and fitting in. It’s also available as an accessible audiobook with a full cast and sound effects, making it inclusive for all participants.
Format:
We’ll meet weekly over Zoom to discuss selected sections of the book. Each session will include group discussion and reflection questions. While we encourage you to attend all sessions, we understand life gets busy—joining at least one is appreciated!
Who Can Join:
