[UW Seattle] Developing Emergency Operations Plans

The University of Washington's Emergency Management is hosting a free in-person training, offered and facilitated by the Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) Technical Assistance Center: Developing Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) for Institutions of Higher Education (IHE 101). This session is designed to support UW Seattle, Bothell, and Tacoma faculty and staff, particularly those involved in Emergency Management or working in Unit Response Centers, in creating, revising, and maintaining emergency operations plans. Attendees will be introduced to a six-step planning process that addresses preparedness before, during, and after critical incidents, equipping participants with the tools and frameworks needed to enhance campus safety and resilience.
There will be a 1-hour lunch break during the training. It is recommended that each URC send a small team to the training to work together on the departmental EOP.
