Submicron Chemical Imaging: Life Sciences, Microplastics, Polymers, Materials & Beyond
Life Sciences, Microplastics, Polymers, Materials & Beyond
Join us for a lunch-and-learn workshop with an Introduction to Optical Photothermal Infrared (O-PTIR) which provides submicron IR, simultaneous Raman, and co-located fluorescence. It has been used for a wide range of application areas.
Speakers: Ting Yan, Ph.D. (Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp) with extensive experience in microscopy, will review the current FTIR and Raman limitations, and introduce how the emerging O-PTIR overcomes these.
A question-and-answer period will be followed by a quick remote demo.
O-PTIR provides:
• Submiron IR
• FTIR transmission-like spectra
• Fast chemical imaging
• Simultaneous Raman from the same submicron spot
• Non-contact and non-destructive method
• Fluorescence imaging for co-located IR measurements
• Broad range of applications
Registration closes on June 23rd.
